2018 Summer Reading – Libraries Rock!

Summer Reading begins Saturday June 2nd and runs through August 11th, 2018

Summer reading programs help students retain their current reading levels over the summer and avoid the dreaded “summer slide.” Reading whatever interests them during the summer also helps to instill a life-long love of reading!

Starting on June 2nd, children, adults, and families can pick up their summer reading packets. Sign-up sheets and bags for children and teens are located at the front table inside the library.

Prizes and incentives will be offered for children and teens who complete and return their summer reading forms. Children who complete reading challenges can also pick from various small prizes throughout the summer. Everyone who participates is eligible for our end of summer drawings in each age group.

More info from Lancaster County Library System.
