To celebrate National Friends of the Library Week, the Friends sent a special reader, Stacy Burkey, to Budding Bookworms Preschool Storytime and gifted binoculars to all of the children.

ANNUAL DONATION

Keeping our commitments to the library is important to the Friends group, so we are especially happy that we can again offer our annual donation of $25,000 towards the library expenses of providing children’s books and programs.

We have resumed offering books on Amazon, so check us out there for some unusual finds. Also offering another choice, we maintain a large bookcase of books for sale at the Mad Hatter Antiques. If you are a frequent patron at the library, you will know that there is also a bookcase of books available for sale as well as some free books. We’re trying to help you find your favorite books at a great price!

If you enjoy spending a bit of time on the computer, we would love to have you join our team—training takes just a few minutes, and you can sign up today simply by leaving your contact information with the staff at the library checkout desk. Additionally, you can support us and help cut our operational costs by donating packing supplies; we are currently accepting donations of bubble wrap and new, unused mailing envelopes at the front desk. Every helping hand and donated item ensures that more of our proceeds go directly back into funding the library programs you love!
