Condition

We always appreciate your donations of good, clean, saleable books (fit to be sold).

We appreciate all donated books and the generosity behind them. However, we kindly ask that donations meet our definition of saleable condition. Recently, we’ve received items too worn or damaged to use in our book sale.

Before bringing donations to the library, please sort through them and remove any books that are smelly, dirty, stained, moldy, excessively worn, or otherwise not suitable for resale. These should be taken to a local recycler.

We rely on used book donations to support our sales, but we can only accept books that you—or someone else—would reasonably be willing to buy.
