Mystery Guest Children’s Book Club – [paused]

What are you reading right now? Bring it along to discuss with the other children at our book club on the 4th Tuesday of each month. A mystery guest will appear and we’ll play “20-questions” to try to guess their job. Parents love this club as much as children! Great way to be introduced to members in the community. For grades K-5. Please register. Looking for a great book series? Check out readers’ reports from the Reader’s Choice Book Club!

MakeIt AAL

MakeIT AAL Programs

MakeIT AAL programs are hands-on STEM education programs held on select days throughout the year, led by Integrative STEM Education majors, museum outreach partners, or library staff. These programs allow children and teens to learn about technology and science, in a fun way.

Topics include a variety of STEM disciplines and age ranges.  Squishy circuits, stomp rockets, catapults, engineering challenges, and slime have been a few of the recent themes. We’ve had a deconstruction zone and tech toy petting zoo. Lancaster Science Factory, S.P.A.R.K.S., and Girl Scout STEM Mobile have all done great programs! See our AAL STEM Programming 2022 Flyer for upcoming dates.
