On Friday, November 21 from 4–6 p.m., the library is opening its doors for a special ExtraGive Open House. Join us as we celebrate Lancaster County’s biggest day of giving with fun, food, community, and mini-highland cows!
Come out to enjoy apple cider and donuts, fun activities for kids, and community connections. There will be a Thanksgiving Basket giveaway including a turkey, a penny social with a selection of huge baskets, and the Friends last book sale of the year.
Brewed with Purpose will be serving coffee from their mobile cart, and JR’s Brisket will be offering delicious bites for sale in the parking lot. The library’s food and drinks partners will have their specialties available for purchase with a portion of proceeds donated back to the library.
The library is pleased to welcome special guests from Swartz Farm from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Get ready to pet, cuddle, and have your picture taken with two adorable mini-Highland cows at the $5 kissing booth!
