Adult Summer Reading

Adult Summer Reading Challenge at Adamstown Area Library

July 1 – Aug 31, 2022

Every Book Is A Chance To Win!

Adults (18+) are invited to join us as we explore Oceans of Possibilities with a summer reading challenge.

For each book you read this summer, fill out an entry form and place it in the collection jar at the circulation desk. That’s it! No registration required, no minimum or maximum number of books (Yes, eBooks and audiobooks count!). For each entry, you have a chance to win weekly prize drawings as well as a grand prize at the end of the summer. Pick up entry forms at the library or print the entry forms here.

Every week throughout the summer, staff will randomly draw one winning entry. Weekly winners will have the opportunity to choose a book from our selection of Advance Reading Copies (ARCs) of new and upcoming books, many of which are not available on shelves yet!  (End-of-Summer grand prize to be announced).

Need help finding something to read? We’re here to help you! Ask at the circulation desk for a recommendation or check out our online resources to find that perfect book.

Staff Picks: Browse summer reading suggestions from our staff. Each staff member listed about 10 of the best books they read this year or from all-time favorites.
