What did people do before refrigerators, microwaves and resealable baggies?!? This program will cover some of the basics of cooking, baking and preserving food in large, sweeping themes. We’ll take some historical facts, mix in a heaping portion of fun trivia, add a dash of archeology then blend it all with a variety of antique kitchen equipment. It will be presented for 50-60 minutes or until done, in front of a cold, antique cookstove. Join the fun and perhaps you’ll want to try a new dish for the family Christmas dinner.
